About Us
We are the United Kingdom Chapter of the Africa Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI UK)
My name is Ambassador Arikana Chihombori Quao, President and Founder of the African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI Global). ADDI was founded with the mission of being the bridge between the African Diaspora and the African Continent. More specifically, ADDI was” born out of the desire to bring Africa to the world and the world to Africa”.
Many African Diaspora and friends of Africa are desirous of investing in Africa but face challenges of navigating this seemingly complex terrain. ADDI’s objective is to pave the way and simplify the process for the African Diaspora and friends of Africa to invest in Africa. The brain drain out of Africa that started over 400 years ago with children of Africa being taken out of the Continent as slaves, followed by those who recently emigrated out of Africa in search of greener pastures, the end result is that Africa does not have enough of the needed expertise to build the Africa we want. The brain drain must be reversed. Fortunately, the children of Africa in the Diáspora
together with our Friends of Africa, have the needed capacity to fill the void.
